On Sunday I got in a cleaning mood. It started when my parents suggested I wax my car before I went back to school. It hadn't been done in who knows how long and it needed it!
Speaking of Presh, near the end of last week she got this AWFUL cough. She is getting pretty old. She just turned 13. It was so sad. It just broke my heart every time I heard her cough. My mom thought it was probably something to do with her heart since she has a heart murmur. We took her to the vet and turns out my mom was right. The vet said her gums were blue which is a sign of the blood not circulating right. She also had a lot of fluid around her heart and really high blood pressure. Poor baby. The vet gave her some medicine and it seems to be working at least for now, but I am still worried about her. She has been moving so slowly lately. Pray that she continues to do okay! And also pray for peace for me while I am off at school that I won't worry too much about her.
On a happier note...
I have two new pets! Well, technically five new pets if you count the snails that came with them!
Introducing Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy (named for Pride and Prejudice)
We have sold these cute little frogs and their ecosystems at Learning Express ($24.99 for a small tank and $29.99 for the bigger tank that I got, if you're interested) all summer and all summer I have debated about whether to get them to take back to Auburn or not. Obviously, I broke down and got them. I'm really glad I did. Two snails came in their tank and we had some extra snails in backstock so I took one to put in Cleo's tank to try to help keep it cleaner. I was kind-of afraid she'd eat it or something, but so far so good!
Let's hope that all three (well, six) pets successfully make the move back to Auburn TOMORROW!
