My Own Version of Show Us Where You Live Friday

Well, as you may know, Kelly's Korner does a "Show Us Your Life Friday" blog carnival which started out as "Show Us Where You Live Friday." I don't participate in this, but I decided to start my own little version of this, haha. 

So this Friday, I will show you my "living room" and "kitchen" areas.

Here's the living room. In this picture it is very, very messy from the destruction of the fort. We cleaned up after I took this, haha. 

This is our "kitchen." Also, very messy. Again, we did clean after this picture.

And that's a little bit of where I live.  

Here are some pictures of a cookie cake I made the other night for Philip.

I wanted to make the cookie look like a smiley face because we have an inside joke about smiley faces. They were out of yellow icing so I had to make my own.

And here's the finished product. I was pretty pleased with it. Except, I think I could have added more brown sugar. Oh well. You live and learn!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm super excited to go eat at Niffer's, one of my favorite restaurants ever (as of recently haha) and to see Love Happens tonight!
