Finally Back to a Normal Life!

Well, recruitment is finally over and we have a wonderful new member class to show for our efforts! I haven't met everyone, but everyone I have met is precious!

Now, that recruitment is over, I feel that life has kind of calmed down and I can stop and catch my breath. I was so glad for these three days off between Bid Day and classes starting tomorrow! I had some errands to run like Target, getting my headlight fixed (which I got pulled over twice within three hours one night for!), unpacking, going to Hobby Lobby, finally picking up my parking pass for my apartment and for on campus, things like that.

My room is almost finished. Everything is unpacked, I just have things still left to hang and Roommate Lo is painting my monogram to go on the wall. Oh, how I love monograms. Our downstairs great room is coming along too. We got some wall decorations yesterday and still need to hang them up, but we're waiting on Philip to help us out haha.

I love love love my new apartment! On Sunday, after church and a FABULOUS lunch that Lo's mom cooked for us, Philip, Graham and I hit the pool. I literally felt like I was on vacation. It was the best.

Not too thrilled about classes starting tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about starting the education program and not sure what to expect, but I'm really excited too! The worst part is that on Wednesdays I have a class from 3- 5:50 pm and then have to go to Chapter and be late which means I have to wear business casual to that class! Nooooooooo!!!!!!!

In other news, Philip and I celebrated our one year anniversary not this past Saturday, but the one before that. Since it is right in the middle of recruitment, we really weren't able to go out and do anything. That was also the day that Philip, my mom, dad and CT moved my stuff into my apartment for me while I was trapped in the chapter room (haha jk). But Philip loved his scrapbook I made him and he gave me a spa package for 2 massages, a facial and a spray tan (which I'm nervous about and will probably wait and use it for formal haha) which was THE best present ever. I'm going to get one of the massages on Thursday and I can't wait.

Still wishing blogger would cooperate and upload pictures... Oh well!! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!
