Rachel's Ramblings: Movies, Movies Movies...

Well, yesterday I had to go to the Eye Doctor. This is never good for me. I'm sure everyone can relate. I absolutely hate getting my eyes dilated! It gives me a huge headache and hurts my eyes. Not to mention you can't see! So after my appointment, I came home, sat in the dark and watched a ton of movies. I did try to go to the pool later on after my eyes were a little better, but it closed 30 minutes after I got there.

So, first I watched this....

I know this may seem a little random and weird, but this is probably one of my all-time favorite movies. As my mom says, the music makes half of the movie, but still, who doesn't cry at the end every time when Shadow comes limping up that hill and says, "Peter! Oh, Peter!" Classic. I tear up and get chills every time.

And after that, I was still in a Disney mood, so I watched this...

Such a great movie. I had forgotten how funny it is too. It's also fun to go back and watch Disney movies that you haven't seen since you were young because now you can actually understand the concept of them. Now, I want to watch the second one (even though I know it's not very good) because I can't remember what happened in it!

Next came this... (and to my credit, I didn't finish this one!)

If you know me at all, you know my love of Audrey Hepburn. Oh, how I love her. I've never seen this movie before so I decided to watch it. I liked it, but I didn't pay attention to it very much because I was painting my nails. I'll have to re-watch it another time.

And that was the end of my movie watching at home...

Then I went to go see...

I have been wanting to see this for such a long time! And it did not disappoint! It was SO SAD, but also HILARIOUS! I would definitely buy it, even though it is so sad. I think I would become immune to it after a couple of viewings. But despite its sadness it was a great movie!

And now, I cannot WAIT to see...

DISNEY IS COMING OUT WITH A NEW "CLASSIC"!!!! Who doesn't love a good 'ole traditional Disney love story cartoon?! BUT... we have to wait until "Holiday Season 2009"! Only a few more months!

BUT FIRST... What I have been waiting MONTHS, no actually, I have to admit YEARS for......
